Construction is Well Underway

We've been working hard getting our beautiful space ready for our Heroes this fall. We've removed 24 walls in all and want to give a big shout-out to those who have helped make this possible. We appreciate all the support! Our next steps are patching the walls, painting, laying new carpet, and then putting it all together to make an amazing space for our learners. We are hoping to have everything ready by the end of July and host an in-person open house/celebration soon.

We also just found out we got selected to receive a grant from VELA to help create our Maker's Space, so we are really excited to bring that to the community! We would love to hear from our learners what types of things/tools/machines, etc they would like to have in the Maker's Space. Email suggestions at info@actonsantacruz.org.

We've got some great upcoming events that we would love to see you at! A picnic in the park on July 10th from 11-2, a camping trip from July 17-19th, and our in person celebration coming soon.

We are so excited about all that is happening at AASC and can't wait to update you again!
